5 Things to Do in London Ontario This June 2017
A new month calls for different daily forecast’s and other never ending events to attend. The month of June offers a variety of things to do for Londoners and anyone and everyone whom are wanting to venture around in London Ontario.
A free event has been planned at the Elmwood Lawn Bowling Club, on 17 ½ Edward St. Canada Bowls is set up for the 150th birthday celebration at a London landmark in Wortley Village. From 12:00PM till 4:00PM come watch or better yet, participate on the outdoor lawns. Flat soled shoes are suggested but all other equipment will be provided. The Walk to Fight Arthritis
Along with the Arthritis Society, walk together to fund a cure for arthritis. From 9:00AM to 1:00 PM at the TD stadium, Western University 100 Philip Aziz Avenue. Tickets for the 8th annual walk are $25.00 for adults, $10.00 for teenagers and free for children but donations are accepted. Arthritis affects 1 in 6 Canadians from coast to coast. Bark in the Park
The LONDON humane Society will be hosting its 33rd annual festival. From 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Plunkett Estate, 9282 Elviage Drive bring your dogs and your friends to celebrate. Also, be prepared to pay $10.00 if you plan to park your car. Activities such as a scavenger hunt, swimming and performances are taking place. Multiple food vendors will also be present. At Lambeth, United Church, 4268 Colonel Talbot Rd, walk and visit the Horticultural Society’s Rose and Flower Show for $5.00.
