It’s Finally Fall

It’s Finally Fall

It’s a new season which means it’s time for new event experiences, as well as having to get used to the chilly weather again, but delicious comfort foods can warm you up. These can be found in London Ontario and eaten over the weekend. With lots of entertainment, you have some choices to make.

Fall Food Fest – September 29

In two words this event can inspire you to go and have a friend tag along, FREE FOOD. A corn roast is provided by Growing Chefs and included is a cooking class and a chance to witness local chefs compete in a contest. This event is held to show appreciation to the farmers in the area and enjoy Autumn. This family-friendly event also has children’s activities and live music.

Located at Covent Garden Market, 130 King St from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Etsy: Made in Canada – September 29

This one-day event is back for its 3rd annual event where over 30 cities across Canada will be participating by celebrating handmade craftsmen and craftswomen. Come to support these local vendors and perhaps find the perfect pumpkin scented candle to brighten your home or some soft woollen accessories. It’s Family and stroller friendly with lots of parking nearby and conveniently close to a bus stop too.

Located at St. Peter’s Cathedral Basilica, 199 Dufferin Avenue from 10:00 AM – 4:00 AM

Check out one or both events, but don’t forget your coat and umbrella just in case, in the fall you never know if you’ll need them or not.
