London is widely known as a golf destination for Canadians. Whether you are a new golfer or an experienced regular, you’ll be sure to find a lush new nine or 18-hole course to enjoy this season.
You’ll experience natural topography, pleasant elevation, and large mature tree-lined fairways. Choose the 9-hole Hickory Course with a mix of par fours and threes. Shorter holes and wider fairways make walking easier for seniors and beginners. The clubhouse overlooks the green.
Fanshawe Golf Course is located in the northeast end of London, overlooking Fanshawe Lake. It opened in 1958 and offers diverse challenges between the two 18-hole layouts - the newer Quarry Course has a links design. It’s one of the first golf courses in Canada to be accessible. It can host a tournament of 30-300 people.
Close to Dorchester, Pine Knot Golf and Country Club has terrific views and challenging courses for golfers at every level. Well-groomed fairways and greens offer a difficult yet beginner-friendly course. It’s an excellent location for regular rounds or a new destination.
A picturesque 18-hole championship course nestled among the southeast shore of Fanshawe Lake. Each hole moves through pine forests and small ravines with stunning lake vistas. You can become a Forest City member, set up charitable or corporate tournaments, or plan a wedding nestled among the trees overlooking the lake.
The first holes at Echo Valley Golf Club opened in 1971. Three years later, they added nine holes to make it an 18-hole facility. The course is located along the outskirts of London and has a full-length driving range. Rolling fairways and true greens create a beautiful getaway.
