Give your guests a beautiful welcome this holiday by decking your door with a custom made wreath. Making a wreath is not only a great craft the whole family can partake in, but you can tailor it to your design needs and match your holiday décor scheme.
If you’re looking for the perfect weekend project, here’s how to
make your wreath.
Step One: Lay Out Your Greens and Florals
Group them by type, so they are easy to grab. A good tip for decorating indoors is to use a laydown newsletter. Create bundles of assorted greens and florals that you want to be paired together.
Step Two: Attach Bundles
One by one, attach the bundles to your frame. You can wrap the floral wire around each stem on the frame to ensure it is secure. Overlap the bundles and aim to cover the branches. Keep going in a counter-clockwise direction until the full circle is covered.
Step Three: Hang It Up
After inspecting any gaps (which will depend on the style you are going for), cut off any excess stems or greens. Don’t forget the finishing touch, a wreath bow! You can learn how to tie one here.
