Whether the groundhogs have it right or not, we can all benefit from the idea of an early Spring. With that in mind, now may be the time to do some early planning of all you want to accomplish with the coming of a new season.
Spring-Time Resolutions
While most everyone comes up with some kind of New Years resolution, it makes more sense to me to take that idea to the coming of Spring. It can be hard to follow through with a lot of resolutions in Winter when you’re stuck inside, but gets far easier (both physically and mentally) when all around us life is renewing itself too. Perhaps you want to walk more to get around, or maybe cook with more vegetables. It could even be something as traditional as getting in that Spring Clean. Such is the power that even a simple change can bring.
Last-Minute Travelling
With the uncertainty of an early Spring, it can be nice to simply bypass the awkward transition period between the two seasons. Why not take this time to find a destination you’ve always thought of visiting, and plan to be away while Spring is struggling to make its way here. Planning to leave in the next 6 weeks means whether or not spring is early or late, you’ll be gone over that most awkward period of seasonal change, constant melting blah. Many airlines have last minute deals for just this reason, and hey, this can also check off a new Spring resolution while you’re at it!
